You can visit the titular Hall of Fame on the third floor or have an impromptu jam session in The Garage on the second floor. Afterward, your family can explore top-notch restaurants or catch a sporting event in downtown Cleveland.
Maltz Museum and David Berger National Memorial
One of the area’s greatest hidden gems, this Museum of Jewish Heritage features changing exhibitions cataloging important events and figures in Jewish history. The museum is a center dedicated to celebrating the Jewish identity of the Beachwood population. You can then visit the David Berger National Memorial and sit on the park benches to enjoy the day.
Cleveland Museum of Art
If you are up for a day trip to learn some history, the Museum of Art features a wide range of galleries, from ancient Egyptian art to contemporary styles. Beachwood Art Gallery
One of our favorite activities in Northeast Ohio is to see the exhibits at the Beachwood Community Center. The community center showcases local talent and has changing exhibits every month or so. Admission is 100% free, and exhibits are open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Preston H.O.P.E Playground Park
If you have children, you can take them to the Preston H.O.P.E playground. The park is accessible to people of all abilities and features several activities for children. It boasts swings, tunnels, slides, and much more.
Pleasant Hill Lake Park
Featuring nearly 88 miles of hiking and horseback trails, Pleasant Hills Lake Park is the go-to attraction near Beachwood, OH, to get lost in nature. You can make unforgettable memories hiking through the nearby Mohican State Forest or park your RV at the trailer park. Pleasant Hill Lake Park features more than 500 different campsites, cabins, and campers that you can reserve online.
Akron Zoo
The Akron Zoo is a 50-acre zoo home to over 1,000 animals of 100 different species. A full trip through the zoo can take up to four hours if you take the time to see all the exhibits.
